15 Transition Year students participated in a ‘Farm of the Future’, workshop in Shinagh farm Bandon yesterday – working collaboratively with board members of agricultural companies such as Carbery Group and Munster Bovine. They spent the day developing their innovative and team building skills.
Well done to Ally O’ Driscoll, Anna Crowley and Ana Zagalaz who won a prize on the day. They were set a problem-solving task on how to, “Increase Health & Safety on a farm without reducing produce output”. They had to research a solution and present it to the judges.
