The ‘Plank Challenge’, the first of monthly challenges, set by the PE Department, was held just before Midterm. The aim of these monthly challenges is to increase activity levels for all, in a fun environment. Every year group is in competition with other year groups and score points for each challenge.
Well done to all students and staff who came down and took part. Huge congratulations to our winners. In third place, Caoimhe Birch,5th year, who held the plank for 7 minutes and 47 seconds, second place was Leah O’ Sullivan, 2nd year, who held her position for 8 minutes and 15 seconds and in first place with an unbelievable time of 8 minutes and 36 seconds-Patricia Torralbo, 2nd year.
Our staff winners were, Ms Paulino who placed second and a joint first place for Mr Meade and Mr Deasy. A massive thank you to everybody who took part and great fun was had by all!!!
