Yesterday the TY students involved in the Young Social Innovators, ‘Sign Me Up’ campaign were honoured to get the opportunity to speak to Fianna Fáil Senator Mark Daly , Cathaoirleach of the 26th Seanad. They spoke about their Irish Sign Language awareness campaign called ‘Sign me up’, the Irish Sign Language Act 2017 and his impact on Ireland’s deaf community today. The girls received helpful advice to progress with their campaign and were so grateful for the opportunity!
