Huge congratulations to Andrea Burke and Ariana Rubika who took part in the Regional Final of the Soroptimist Ireland Girls’ Public Speaking Competition at the Avenue Hotel, Killarney, February 11th. The girls spoke about such issues as human rights and female empowerment, before delivering impromptu speeches on the topic of “hope.” Andrea was one of two winners on the day and now progresses to the National Final which will be held in Dublin at The Mansion House, March 9th. Well done to Andrea and all involved!
