Well done to our team of students who have just returned from Chicago. The students did so well, winning best attorney and best witness awards in addition to being highly commended for their Pre trial oral arguments. 42 teams were involved, the majority from American states but some international teams also competed. The team has been preparing since July for the competition and 15 students in total have been involved in various roles from attorney, witness, research, planning, timekeeping and promotional roles. The students were involved in 4 cases, acting as both the Plaintiff and Defense. Their involvement came about as a result of winning the National Final in the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin in May. The students also got an opportunity to explore some of the sights of Chicago – an experience they will never forget!
