This Saturday, Cora Higgins (Sixth Year) and Ailbhe Guedan (Transition Year) will be competing in the Soroptimist Public Speaking Regional Final. The competition will be held in School of the Divine Child, Ballintemple at 2 p.m. Cora’s chosen topic is “Peace and Democracy”, while Ailbhe’s topic is “Planet and Environment.” The girls will also have to deliver an impromptu speech on the day, with only two minutes preparation time! We wish them the very best of luck and every success in this next stage of the competition.
