Girls in Analytics
12 TY students attended “Girls in Analytics”.
This is a 10-week programme designed to inspire Transition Year students to explore the world of data and analytics. Led by female data scientists from Accenture, the programme gives students hands-on experience working with real data, learning valuable digital and problem-solving skills, and discovering what a career in analytics can look like.
Students work in teams, complete guided online tutorials, and develop a mini project before showcasing their work at a regional final. Along the way, they gain confidence, learn new IT skills, and connect with relatable female role models in STEM.
