The Great Colnato Bake Off
Competition
The Great Colnato Bake Off competition aims to encourage students to be creative and take part in home baking. Students are asked to design plan and make a novelty cake.
This competition is open to all students in this school.
The theme of the competition is: “What makes me happy”.
We have two entry categories:
1) Senior (4th – 6th yr) In the senior category entrants must design, bake and decorate a novelty cake that reflects the theme of ‘What makes me happy’. Senior category entrants must use fondant icing as some part of the decoration of their cake.
Junior (1st – 3rd yr) In the junior category entrants must design, bake and decorate a novelty cake. Junior entrants may use any medium to decorate their cake.
What to do: Once entrants have designed, baked and decorated their cakes they must take 3 photos of the cake (different angles) and email it to media@presbandon.ie with your name and class.
All required information must be with us by Monday 28th February 2022.
The Bake Off will take place on 10th March.
The competition will have 6 finalist (3 junior and 3 senior) shortlisted from all the submitted entries.
They will be invited to create their design in front of judges in school on Thursday, 10th March. The finalists will have 3 hours to bake and decorate their cakes.
