Day One of the Model United Nations events in Bandon kicked off today! Our students Seán Hayden, Erica Cyvas and Elsa O’Sullivan created resolutions and engaged in robust debates, caucusing, and lobbying, making for a lively and engaging start to the conference!

Two global issues were debated:
1) Safeguarding children in digital environments, including the regulation and oversight of emerging artificial intelligence technologies.

2) Addressing the rise of extremist political ideologies and their impact on democratic institutions, human rights, and international stability.

Well done to all involved!
