Last week the GreenSchools Committee carried out a Litter Survey across the entire school site. The results to the survey can be viewed here and we have identified our red and green zones. Going forward the committee are on a mission to reduce the litter in our school in particular focusing on our base classrooms. We have therefore teamed up with the school’s Leadership Team to organise a weekly ‘Classy Classroom’s Competion’, whereby members of the committee will carry out spot checks, grading the base classrooms throughout the week. Things the committee will be looking to see is that there is no general litter or blue roll on the floor, tidy bins, tidy desks, tidy boxes and windows open circulating fresh air.
