The Schools National Combined events took place in Athlone on Saturday. Ruby Cummins represented her athletics club Bandon AC.
Ruby competed strongly throughout her 5 events (60mh, Long Jump, Shot Put, High jump, and 800m) in the minor girls to take home the gold, with a total score of 3279 points. Ruby also set Club Records in U15 and U14 categories respectively. The long jump saw Ruby going over 5m. Well done Ruby. We are so proud!
