TYs spent a most enjoyable day at the Celtic Ross Hotel Rosscarbery at the annual Enterprise Day organised by Christine Duggan with the Local Enterprise Office .
Well done to the contributors
1. Kríos, National Student Enterprise Award winners from Coláiste an Spioraid Naoimh, Bishopstown who have pivoted from draw string towels to AI. They encouraged us to be ‘shameless’ , put yourself out there and always stay curious.
2. Kinsale native Laura Lyons with her unique app controlled, flameless LED candle ‘Sonua’ explained how success lies in doing something different that makes you stand out.
3. Jonathan Davis, owner of JD fitness Skibbereen summed his message up succinctly “You are young, try new things, keep asking and don’t be afraid to fail and fail again”
4. Ernest Cantillon, part owner of Sober Lane Cork and Kinsale Gin company advocated doing what you enjoy, as life is too short !!
Great advice
We were inspired by them all
