Well done to our 2nd years, who won the B County Final today in Rosscarbery. This competition was continued on from last year when they had beaten Bantry and Ballyvourney in the group, faced a tough test against Blarney in the Semi-Final, and faced a strong Bantry team today in the final. The girls were outstanding! Although there were fantastic instances of kicking, fielding, and shooting, it was their work rate that led to the victory. They were rock solid in the backs, clinical upfront, and had pace and power through the middle. Thank you to the coaches! Also, thank you to O’Connors for the transport to and from the game!
